Neston Primary Pupils Create Head-Turning 'Our Area' Exhibition

When AboutMyArea receives an invitation to an exhibition called 'Our Area', it is impossible to resist!
Each term, children at Neston Primary School are given a topic to interpret in whatever way they want to. Over the past few years topics have included The Olympics, The Magic of Reading, Famous Britons, Hats, The Owl and the Pussycat, to name but a few.
This term they were asked to turn their talents to interpreting the local area of Neston and surrounding villages. What an amazing array of items they have created!
This exhibition is, quite literally, 'head turning'!
At the exhibition's opening, the Mayor of Neston, Cllr Mike Shipman and his wife, Sue were given the grand tour by a posse of helpful students, before enjoying some refreshments.
Head teacher Rob Golding said: "Our thanks to Neston's Mayor and Mrs Shipman for their time and interest in our exhibition of work created by pupils on the theme of 'Our Area'.
"The standard of the work and creativity surprised, entertained and delighted us. We plan to display the work during our Open Afternoon and at Neston Market on a date to be confirmed."
The pictured exhibits show just a small section of the wonderful work the pupils have created. I urge you to see the exhibition, as Mr Golding says, either next Thursday or when it is brought to Neston Market - we will advise the date as soon as it is confirmed.
