Sainsbury's in Neston was the venue for a very special Christmas shopping event recently.
The local 'Live at Home' scheme, with volunteers from Neston Angels led by Zaria Shreef, hosted the event alongside Louise Irvine of Sainsbury's.
Louise explains: "Many Live at Home clients came along. Volunteers assisted the shoppers and Hip & Harmony's CH64 N'Ukes group provided entertainment in the café, whilst the volunteers helped to wrap clients' purchases.

"Sainsburys colleagues served free refreshments and gave each of the clients a free Christmas Bag for Life. Jon Atkinson presented all the ladies with a bunch of flowers.
"There was much merriment as the ladies enjoyed a great sing along whilst sporting Santa hats and made great use of the props brought along by Chris Lett.
"This was a fantastic event and the 64 N'ukes were amazing. They really got everyone involved. Great community spirit all round and really made us all start to feel very Christmassy."
Hip & Harmony's 64 N'Ukes meet every Tuesday at Neston Community Youth Centre in Burton Road, from 6.15 to 8.45pm. All abilities welcome!
