The Neston Easter Market held on Good Friday saw local firm Deeside Bakeries win the Best Dressed Stall competition.
They were presented with their prize and certificate by the Mayor of Neston, Cllr Pay Kynaston and Cllr Christine Warner. Other traders, including Orchard Pigs Bakery, The Body Shop at home with Faye, Nick's Meat & Cheese and Blue Bonnet Sweets, who had all made great efforts to take part, were also presented with a certificate and prize.
A newly revamped basement food hall was unveiled at the event, featuring a range of artisan food stalls joining the regular fish and deli stall. A selection of different stalls will appear each Friday in the coming weeks.
Everything from curries to gin were on offer from artisan stalls in the newly revamped basement food hall.
Girl Guides raised £200 towards their upcoming trip to Switzerland by running a tearoom in the Town Hall.
Free facepainting was on offer and beautiful weather ensured a great turn out in support of the market. Customers enjoyed food from the variety of regular street food, bakery and drinks stalls on offer. A spokesperson for Neston Town Council said: "Traders were delighted with the increased footfall and business generated, and we have had positive feedback from them and also members of the public who all enjoyed the day, commenting of the wonderful atmosphere.
