Neston Tip Opening Hours to Revert to Normal This Week

From Wednesday 27 May, operating hours at Neston Waste and Recycling Centre will be returning to normal.

Having been accessible to the public from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week since re-opening two weeks ago, the site will be closed on Wednesday as it was before the temporary closure and reopen on Thursday 28 May 2020 from 9am to 5pm.  Thereafter the hours will be 9am to 5pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, closed all day Tuesday and Wednesday.

Currently the queue for the recycling centre is via Liverpool Road with a representative on hand to monitor the traffic management provision for this site. Traffic management provision is under regular review.

Garden waste collections are still suspended due to staff shortages so that resources can be concentrated on maintaining a regular household refuse collection service. A further announcement on this is anticipated this week.

Just wondering if we can take our garden waste to recycling centre. Green bin is overloaded, we have four large black sacks of green matter, I am not too sure if a family of rats have now taken shelter in black sack!!
