Neston Then and Now - Part 6
Published: 19th September 2013 09:10 |
A collection of 'then' and 'now' images of various locations within the CH64 postcode area.
For the 2013 Neston Village Fair, Clive Edwards of Burton & Neston History Society prepared some images for display.
He put together 26 boards, each containing a 'Then' and a 'Now' picture, as close to the original view as possible, of various places in and around Neston.
‘Then' photographs were taken from the postcard collection of David Scott and ‘Now' photographs were all taken by Clive in 2013.
Clive has now shared these photographs with AboutMyArea Neston. We are publishing a few each week for your enjoyment. Our grateful thanks to Clive and the other members of Burton & Neston History Society for the work they put in all year round to research and preserve our local history.
If any of our readers would like to submit some 'then' and 'now' images for publication, please send them to us by email. Please make sure you advise us of any credits that need to be applied to photographs.
