Author: annahowelll Published: 6th August 2012 16:51

For all of you that may have missed any of last weeks soaps, here is a chance to catch up before the week ahead is upon us

Hollyoaks

Ally (Dan O'Connor) vows to help Will (James Atherton) in his quest to clear his name.  They manage to track down the girl that Will had been filming at the time of Lynsey's murder, but she reveals that she is married and therefore can't go forward.  With a little help from Ash (Holly Weston) they manage to change her mind before the court case, clearing Will of all charges.  The Savages party hard to celebrate, but when Will finally plucks up the courage to tell Ash how he really feels about her, he walks in on her and Ally kissing.

That's not Will's only disappointment, either, as no sooner as the champagne gone flat, a hefty solicitor's bill comes through the door.  In a desperate bid to pay it, Will tries to look for a job, but unfortunately the stigma of Silas is still hanging over his head and no one wants to employ him.

Martha (Carli Norris) loses yet another job, and Callum (Laurie Duncan) fears this means she will turn to drink again, and in a bid to stop her gets drunk himself and trashes the house leaving his family so terrified they phone the police who arrest him and lock him up for the night.  Martha finally agrees to see a doctor and agrees to make an effort to kick the habit, but can she keep her promises?

After losing all his flat mates deposit money, Scott (Calvin Denba) makes a decision to leave Hollyoaks for good to go travelling, but before he goes he sells all his beloved comics to save his friends from being homeless.

Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) finally catches Riley's (Rob Norbury) eye when he tries to kiss her on the doorstep.  However, still knee deep in game play, Mercy pulls away, playing hard to get, but unbeknown to her the whole incident has been witnessed by Dr Browning who goes into a silent, festering rage.  Taking things too far, Dr Browning then gets Riley to go out on the town with him, getting him stupidly drunk whilst he drinks shandy.  At the end of the night, Dr Browning issues a very sever warning to his love rival.

Ally admits to Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) about his kiss with Ash, but in a real twist of emotions he decides to leave her despite the fact that she says she will forgive him.  Acting like it doesn't matter; Amy carries on, but loses it when Ally and Ash walk into the coffee shop together.

Emmerdale

Charity (Emma Atkins) enlists the help of an unlikely source in her father in law in a scheme to take down the Kings Haulage business, blissfully unaware that her husband Jay (Chris Bisson) is waiting for the right moment to tell her that he has gotten Rachel (Gemma Oaten) pregnant and they are planning to keep the baby!

After a gallant display of loyalty in front of a perspective client, it soon becomes very apparent that Alex (Kurtis Stacey) is starting to feel very attached to Moira (Natalie J Robb).  Things come to a head when, during a boozy evening, he leans in to kiss her.  Moira pulls back leaving Alex very embarrassed, but tries her best to convince him she isn't offended and doesn't want there to be an atmosphere between them.  To try and help the situation, Moira convinces Victoria (Isobel Hodgins) to talk to Alex and give their relationship another go.  Victoria listens and arranges to meet the farm hand, but he soon clears up the misunderstanding when he tells her he never wants to get back with her.

Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) is shocked to learn that her mother, Kerry, is in a diabetic coma in hospital.  The stroppy teenager tries her best to pretend she doesn't care, but soon gives in and goes with Val (Charlie Hardwick) and Eric (Chris Chittell) to the hospital to visit her.  When she gets there, however, she finds her very well, stood outside smoking.  The pair engage in a bitter showdown, but eventually things calm down and Eric offers for Kerry to stay at the B&B that night as she had nowhere else to go.  The next day, Kerry tries her best to get back in Amy's good books, but when the subject of Kyle comes up; Amy clams up and tells her mum she wants nothing to do with her.  Kerry goes to leave, but Amy follows her and issues her an ultimatum, fight for me now or lose me forever.

Jake is playing up for David (Matthew Wolfenden) and so decides the best way to help him is to take him to see his mum in prison.  The visit is a disaster, and both David and Alicia agree that Eric should bring the lad next time, as it is too awkward for them after Alicia admit her feelings to see each other.  Back home and David drowns his sorrows in the Woolpack, where he tells barmaid Priya (Fiona Wade) the truth behind his scam marriage.  Priya offers more than a shoulder to cry on, but David turns down a date with her, for now!

Stella (Michelle Collins) asks to see Karl (John Mitchie) and he gets his hopes up expecting a reconciliation, however when he gets there she asks him to sign over the pub to her otherwise she will tell the police that he was the one who robbed the pub safe.  He goes home and tells Sunita (Shobna Gulati) who causes a hornets nest worth of a storm, shouting the odds about how they won't be blackmailed, but meanwhile Karl goes round to see Stella and signs the paperwork.

Tommy (Chris Fountain) is working all the hour's god sends, in order to pay back Tyrone (Alana Halsall) the money he owes him.  Kind hearted Ty sees the stress his pal is under and offers him a payment holiday and some time off work so that he can take Tina (Michelle Keegan) away for a week to see his grandparents.  Tommy and Tina are over the moon, but when Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) discovers what her fiancée has done, she takes a hoover attachment and beats him senseless with it.  Bruised and humiliated, Tyrone is forced to retract both offers from Tommy, leaving him and Tina stunned, especially as Ty is in such a bad mood that he is taking it out any anyone near him.  Tina has had enough and goes over to have it out with Tyrone, but when she walks in she sees his bruises.  He arranges to meet her later and tells her the truth, making her promise not to tell anyone about what has happened.  Meanwhile, Kirsty has started to get paranoid that he has told someone, and issues Tyrone an ultimatum, if you tell anyone what has happened she will leave him.
