Ness Village Hall - Refurbished and Ready to be Rented
Published: 18th July 2013 09:34 |
Ness Village Hall has recently undergone a refurbishment.
The Trustees have spent approximately £15,000 on the project, which has included new windows, insulation, improved heating, modern kitchen and refurbished toilets. New flooring has also been installed.
The building looks a lot smarter now, as you can see in the photographs in this feature.
The Trustees received donations from the members' budgets of Cllrs Kay Loch and Louise Gittins and a grant from the Hemby Trust, as well as doing lots of fund raising themselves.
Trustee Leah Brookes adds: "We are looking for regular tenants, Monday to Friday daytimes until 3pm. After that the Hall is used by Wirral Theatre School every evening and on Saturdays.
"We have two football teams that also use the hall over the weekends. We want to open the doors to the local community.
"If anyone would like more information, or make a booking, please contact us on 07932 144498. We charge £10 per hour, discounts may be available for regular bookings."
"We are holding a Car Boot Sale on Saturday July 20th from 2 to 5pm. The Students at Wirral Theatre School will also be promoting their school with displays and demonstrations throughout the day. We will be having some side stalls and teas and coffees in the Hall.
"This is an ideal opportunity for local residents to pop down and see the newly refurbished hall, all are very welcome."
