Neston Air Cadets have shown, yet again, that they are a force to be reckoned with.
After a year of hard work and commitment from both staff and cadets, they were rewarded with 3rd place in their recent Wing Field Training Day in which they competed in various disciplines.
They scooped up the trophies for Public Relations, Adventure Training, and more significantly, the Annual Inspection Trophy for best Squadron in Merseyside Wing.
Cadet Warrant Officer Natalie Fields won "The Keith Dobie Award - best female in Merseyside Wing". She was also the recipient of a cheque for £50 for coming up with the motto for the new Wing Crest "Niti Pro Successu - Strive for Success".
Cadet Warrant Officer Callum Reid was also a finalist in "The Clive Wright Trophy - best male in Merseyside Wing", He also won a £200 cash award for his hard work in all things "adventure training", to be used in the gaining of new qualifications. We are sure he'll use it wisely, and gain qualifications which will in turn, help cadets of Neston Squadron to experience and gain new skills.
