Arson Incident in Neston Prompts Zero Tolerance Police Message on Anti-Social Behaviour

On the evening of Sunday 6th April 2014, an incident of arson took place, with a bin being set on fire near Sainsbury's in Neston.
Beat Manager at Neston Police Station, PC Graham Davis said: "No significant damage was caused but the potential for a much more serious outcome is clear. The suspect was caught on CCTV and arrested by local officers shortly after the incident took place. The investigation is on-going.
"Local officers would like to remind those intent on causing, or being involved in, anti-social behaviour in the area that they WILL be prosecuted.
"We would also encourage those residents witnessing or subject to incidents of ASB to contact Police on 101 (or 999 in an emergency) so that officers can be deployed quickly to deal with any such incident."
