New Thriller From Neston Author Launches This Week

Published: 2nd October 2019 10:10

Neston based author Caroline Corcoran publishes her debut novel this week, and it's set to thrill.

Caroline CorcoranNeston based Caroline Corcoran launches her debut novel this week.

Through The Wall is a psychological thriller based around two women that live alongside each other and hear details of each other's lives through the walls of their flats; building up (usually inaccurate) pictures, before one takes her obsession way too far.  It's described on Amazon as 'The creepiest psychological thriller of 2019'.

Caroline says: "It deals a lot with envy and the comparison culture of 2019 when, thanks to social media, we're all fixated on what everybody else is doing."

Synopsis:

Lexie loves her home. She feels safe and secure in it - and loved, thanks to her boyfriend Tom. But recently, something's not been quite right. A book out of place. A wardrobe door left open. A set of keys going missing...
Tom thinks Lexie's going mad - but then, he's away more often than he's at home nowadays, so he wouldn't understand.

Because Lexie isn't losing it. She knows there's someone out there watching her. And, deep down, she knows there's nothing she can do to make them stop...A compelling, heart-racing thriller that will have you looking over your shoulder long after you turn the last page. The perfect read for fans of Louise Candlish and Adele Parks.

For Caroline, the achievement of publishing her novel is matched by her excitement at being invited to appear at a book signing at Linghams in Heswall: "I'll be there at 2pm on November 9. It's a dream come true - I love Linghams and have daydreamed about doing a book signing there!"

So pop down to Linghams on Saturday 9 November at 2pm if you'd like to meet Caroline and have her sign your copy of the book.  If you can't wait that long to read it, it's on sale widely from Thursday October 3.
