Welcome to the latest edition of Neston News - your weekly round up of local news and events in the Neston area.

Click here for Online version (if your email or mobile programme has mangled the layout).

The emphasis this week seems to be on celebrating our green spaces.  Ringway Park was officially re-opened last Friday, following a £40k revamp, then Little Neston residents enjoyed a Play Day in West Vale Park.  This coming Saturday it's the turn of Stanney Fields Park, for their annual Fun Day.

Meanwhile, the Paintballing Tournament organised by Neston Police, running throughout the Summer holidays, is proving very popular - you can find out more about that and other activities going on in the holidays here.

Transport is a hot topic, with the announcement of the expansion of the Deeside Shuttle bus service to include Neston - details here. Also, just a couple of days left to sign the petition for half-hourly services to be introduced on the Wrexham to Bidston train line.

Plenty of events coming up locally - check out our What's On guide in full, here.  Also, a video has now been added to our coverage of this year's Ladies Day, you will find the link in this article.

I'll leave you to catch up now on all the local news and forthcoming events. Remember to keep your submissions coming, we love to hear from you.

Any local businesses who would like to find out how your product or service can be made more visible to Neston customers, please do get in touch, we are happy to help.

Have a great week!
