Cyclists taking part in the Countrywide Great Tour arrived at Neston Cricket Club in Parkgate on Sunday evening.
They had travelled from Llandudno on the second day of a 64 day epic journey that will see riders travelling the round the coast of Great Britain, cycling approximately 100km per day and raising funds and awareness for charities across the UK.
Great Tour cyclists arrive in Parkgate, including Neston resident Brian MacDonald, far right.
Locally, the arrival of the cyclists was the last hurrah for Go Neston!, which had encompassed two days of events in the area, including the Liverpool-Chester-Liverpool bike ride coming through Parkgate, Neston, Ness and Burton earlier on Sunday.
Neston resident Brian MacDonald, who is participating in the tour for the first ten days, said: "We finally got here two hours later than planned, having been hit by storms and two punctures!"
Local professional photographer Bernard Rose was on hand to capture the arrival of Great Tour cyclists at Parkgate.
