The busy High Street 2013
Long Melford Street Fair held it's acclaim to being a destination has antiquity and contemporary presence in abundance.
The 13th Long Melford Street Fair was a joyous and friendly affair which brought people far and wide in Suffolk and the surrounding Counties to enjoy what Long Melford's Community had to offer. There were over one hundred stalls and something for everyone.

John Nunn, who is the Street Fair's Committee Chairman, said that "around 10,000 people were there" and it was "the best turn out yet; normally there are about 7,000". The weather, although warm was undoubtably a contributing factor.
The fun started at 3pm and continued into the early evening with live bands.
The brilliant live Route 66
The children were entertained with face painting and water zorbing balls, along with helter skelter rides. The adults had the sound of African Drums, Route 66 and other musical feasts!

The Police and Fire Service were there in Force too; the latter doing an impressive demonstration of fire-fighting skills on a vehicle.

Everyone who was there seemed to thoroughly enjoy Long Melford and many are looking forward to next year already.
