Lavenham Christmas Fair, 5th - 7th December

The Lavenham Christmas Fair takes place from 5th to the 7th of December on the Market Place, with events, entertainment, food and craft stalls. The Christmas Fair is our most annual popular event, drawing visitors to our village who are all looking to start their Christmas season in a unique setting with a truly festive backdrop.

Friday the 5th December 6pm - 8.30pm

Meet Father Christmas in his sleigh from 6pm in the Market Place, and watch our Christmas lights signal the start of the weekend. Live music courtesy of the 60 strong Funky Voices Choir. Local sourced food, drink, gift and craft stalls will be open to serve you.  

Saturday 6th December 11am – 5pm and Sunday 7th December 11am – 4pm

Food, drink, gifts and craft stalls will be open all weekend on the Market Place, Lavenham Guildhall and throughout the village; musicians and choirs will provide live entertainment in the market place. 

There will be additional craft stalls in the Village Hall and in the Little Hall Museum, plus on Saturday there will be a lantern lit guided tour of the village at 4.30pm. At 4pm on Sunday you can join our Christmas Carol service in the Village Hall.

And don't forget all of the local businesses will be open throughout the weekend giving you the perfect opportunity to do some Christmas shopping.

Christmas Fair raffle tickets are on sale now with fabulous prizes. Available from the Lavenham businesses.

Children’s Entertainment will be available throughout the weekend with vintage fairground rides, a bouncy castle, Father Christmas in his Grotto and look out for the Giant Elf in the Market Place, and much more.
